Welcome you to 4th Uckfield Alpha Scout Troop
Alpha Scout Troop is run by a dedicated group of warranted leaders, trained by the Scouting Association and DBS checked.
We run the Troop in our spare time as volunteers – Karen O’Riley is the Scout Leader and our Assistant Scout Leaders are Jay Dode, Rob Churchill, Tom O’Riley. Our Explorer helper is Connor Dode-Angel.
Alpha Troop runs three camps a year: our spring camp in May is a joint venture with Phoenix Scout Troop & 272 Explorer Unit. Our summer camp is one week at the end of July and we have a 24 hour survival camp in September. We also attend the Bewl Water Scout & Guide Water Sports weekend.
